Is The “Daniel” of Ezekiel 28 The Same Person As The Book of Daniel?

When discussing the evidence for the early date of Daniel in the sixth century B.C., one of the points that are raised is this same Daniel (of the book of Daniel) was a contemporary with Ezekiel (Ezekiel 14:20; 28:3). Since Ezekiel lived in the sixth century B.C., then it would be the case that Daniel lived during the same time period. Those who oppose that the book of Daniel was written during the sixth century B.C. will appeal to another man named Danel (no misspelling here).

Did Matthew Actually Write The Gospel Claimed To Him Even Though It Is In The Third Person?

One of the objections that is usually made against the gospel writers is the one that is made by a famous skeptic: “Matthew’s Gospel is written completely in the third person, . . . Even when this Gospel narrates the event of Matthew being called to become a disciple, it talks about ‘him,’ not about ‘me.’

Who Incited David To Count The Fighting Men of Israel?

(2 Samuel 24:1; 1 Chronicles 21:1)

2 Samuel 24:1: "Again the anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel, and He moved David against them to say, "Go, number Israel and Judah."

1 Chronicles 21:1: "Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel."

The apparent "problem" that skeptics see in 1 Chronicles 21:1 is that Satan is cited as the one who instigates David to number the people of Israel; whereas in 2 Samuel 24:1, the Lord is cited as the instigator. Is there a "contradiction?"

Did The Disciples Become The Apostles Before or After The Ascension of Jesus?

Skeptics like to comb through the Bible and think they have found contradictions. Skeptics think they may have found a chronological contradiction this time. The contradiction they have said to find is that gospel writers and Paul cannot agree upon when the disciples became apostles. Did they become the apostles before the ascension of Jesus (Acts 1:9-11), which seems to be the case or was it after the ascension of Jesus? These passages Matthew 10:2, Mark 6:30, Luke 6:13, 9:10, 11:49, 17:5, 22:14, 24:10, Acts 1:2, and 1:26 call the disciples the apostles before the ascension of Jesus (except for Acts 1:26). Paul indicates in his letter to the Ephesians that the gift of apostleship was not given until after the ascension of Jesus (Ephesians 4:7-16).

Is The Kingdom of Jesus To End?

Problem: Skeptics believe they have found a contradiction. The Bible teaches that the kingdom of Jesus would not come to an end (Daniel 7:14; Luke 1:33), whereas in other passages it is stated that the kingdom will come to an end (1 Corinthians 15:24-28).
