Some years ago, a brother in Christ was riding in the car with me and a few other preachers returning from dinner to a conference. A conversation came up regarding a certain questionable action that some were in disagreement of whether it was a serious issue or not. This particular question was about a strong suggestion regarding people swimming at the public venue (hotel/conference center) where we were at. All of a sudden, this brother said “why do you hate swimming?”

Go to church or the devil will get ya! Well….sort of. I remember passing this sign probably 10-11 years ago coming back from a family trip to Florida. We were on I-65 north just outside of Montgomery. We had stopped at this sweets store that had a pink cow…yes, a real pink cow (It closed a few years afterwards) and had been laughing about that for miles…and then…there it was! I was like “WOW, did you see that sign?”

I will sing with the spirit! - Joey Ferrell

Tonight was “singing night” at the local congregation where we attend. About once a month, we gather together to focus on singing songs of praise in worship to God, giving us a chance to learn songs that we may not normally sing, and allow for those who normally do not lead singing to be able to join in as a part of their service to God - whereas other times they may not have opportunity. As we were singing, i was reminded of a verse that may be overlooked in the idea of what our God wants in worship to Him.
