Will There Ever Be Miracles Again?

It may come as a surprise, but the answer to this question is “Yes”!

Some of the miracles to come:
(1) Jesus will enter this time-space universe (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)
(2) Jesus will raise the physical bodies of the wicked and the righteous from the dead (John 5:28,29)
(3) The universe will be destroyed by fire (2 Peter 3:10-13)
(4) God will create a new heavens and new earth in which righteousness dwells (2 Peter 3:10-13).
There are some miracles that God will perform in the future. We must recognize though that the miraculous gifts that were given to the early church have now ceased because they were given to confirm and reveal the word of God (Mark 16:17-20; Hebrews 2:1-4). Presently we live in a miracle-free period of time (1 Corinthians 13:8). Then comes Jesus. Maranatha (Aramaic for “O Lord, come!” in 1 Corinthians 16:22).
