Is A Woman's Role Less Valuable Than A Man's Role?

Absolutely not. A woman has a great role in being a…

1. Godly wife. The wife is presented as a lady of purity, spirituality, and submission to the headship of her husband. It brings her great delight to follow the lead of her godly husband who loves her and is willing to sacrifice himself for her (Ephesians 5:22-33). She brings a critical and vital role to the marital relationship because she is to support her husband and she is perfectly compatible to help him (Genesis 2:18) in his leadership responsibilities and the leading of his family. She has a repository of wisdom and experience from which to aid her husband in making the right decisions that the family ought to follow.

2. Mother. Mothers play a vital role in the family because she is able to help her husband train their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:14; Ephesians 6:1-4; 1 Timothy 5:14; 2 Timothy 1:5; Titus 2:4). She has great intuition and insight into what her children need in their emotional development, social development, educational development, and spiritual development (2 Timothy 1:5; 3:15; Luke 2:52).

3. Teacher in the church - of other women and children (Titus 2:3-5; 2 Timothy 2:2). Women play a vital role in the early stages of a child's spiritual development and are well-suited to help children to know Jesus. The older women are also well-suited to help aid young women to know about their issues they will face as females in regards to marriage, child-rearing, modesty, and many other issues that would be more appropriate for the women to teach.

4. Personal worker - evangelizing others as she does not assume an authoritative role of a teacher over adult men (1 Timothy 2:11-12; 2 Timothy 2:2). Women can help others to know about Jesus Christ, their Savior. Women should have the passion to want to help others to know about the gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16).
