This will be a short update this month from me personally as I am packing a trailer to head to some of the remnants of Hurricane Helene to help local congregations in that area set up feeding and minimal distribution sites for local communities and their workers. We do not realize how blessed we really are until something like this happens. I am so grateful to work with The Gospel of Christ that allows me to pause normal day to day activities and work with these and many of our own supporting and local congregations in such a time of need.

We have some major changes coming in the realm of media and television.

Our USB drives arrived and we are deciding how to best accommodate orders for multiple files/copies. It would be best done with a duplicator; however, we are very short on budget this year for technology updates. As of today, we have the expenses for technology needs as follows:

USB drives - initial order - $1,000ish
Paper folder for mass mailings of letters (already purchased) - $450 remaining on the cost
Duplicator if we can get one - range from $300-600 for most that can do what we need.
Hard drives for archiving videos (we can record one series of 8 lessons per hard drive) - $200 each (we have had to purchase 12 so far this year for cameras and we recycle one per session to archives)

If you are able to help in these needs, we would certainly appreciate it as most of this was unknown in our budget times first of the year.

Television!!!

We are making some major changes.

Canada was a 13 week contract. Unfortunately, we did not get a lot of feedback, nor any additional funding to keep this avtive.

CW Plus - It has been good to us; however, we needed to reappropriate that money toward other markets that have proven audiences.

Both of these have ended as of today.

Additions include a THIRD broadcast in Panama City, a SECOND broadcast in Bluefield and Chattanooga and Nashville! These additions are to test audience levels on differing days and times and we will evaluate what areas we can keep active or need to change from there.

Birmingham, great audience, ABC, cost is $150 per week

Evansville, IN - excellent audience, NBC cost is $75 per week
Biloxi, MS - Good audience, big networks, cost is $100 per week

Tri-Cities, TN - Excellent audience, NBC cost is $100 per week
