From the field:MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS: Our new and improved look on the website is done! And it has already had many more visits than previous months! We are still organizing a few things, but we hope you find the new look appealing and beneficial to find more resources. Take a look and let us know what you think! www.thegospelofchrist.com MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT #2: New channels coming in October! In select markets, we will launch on Spectrum Cable. These markets will be listed on our website soon. They will be on the local Spectrum channel. So far we have selected 12 markets to add to our already growing footprint and we are in discussion about several more! These particular broadcasts will be at either 5:30 or 7:00 a.m. local times. Unfortunately, these will not be listed in the guides, however, the reach is very good and we are getting an excellent price on the package! Something that we will also share in humble gratitude. A dear Christian has donated a very generous contribution in order to expand our efforts. We are so very thankful for that and even though the donation is to remain anonymous, we know that our Lord knows the kindness and incredible timeliness of this gift. While it was not “earmarked” to be a matching contribution, we would encourage others to consider how we can reach so many souls. Our current average cost to reach a household with the broadcasts is 4 cents! That means at least one soul, maybe 2 or 3 in a household, is being reached every week for under a nickel! Now…use those same numbers to calculate $50 per month, $500 per month, or maybe if the blessings are there, $50,000 one time. When you see what that calculates to, it is easier to understand how meaningful any gift to The Gospel of Christ is! As a reminder! On June 14, we launched not only our third nationwide broadcast, but also our fourth!!!! That’s right. We launched on Comet TV (5:00 am) and MovieSphere Gold (7:00 am). That makes us one of the few religious programs on television to be on ALL platforms from satellite to cable to streaming to over-the-air! And, two of those networks are in the top 100 networks in the world!
We need your help to get this news out…and we need your help in order to maintain the budget to sustain these offerings as well as several of our local markets. With that said, please look at the markets below. If we are not able to secure additional funding for some of these markets, we will pull those back in to give a stronger possibility for long term on these new portals. This is an urgent matter.
2026 is going to be a strong year for getting the gospel message out to others. It is our 30th anniversary and we are so excited about that!
